FULL-BODY WORK THAT NEVER FEELS LIKE CARDIO.
Kickboxing classes in Lubbock that build strength, stamina and full-body conditioning through coached combinations and bag work.
WHAT IT IS.
Kickboxing at Kairos combines punches, kicks and knees into intentional combinations worked on the bag. It is high-energy, but every round has a purpose behind it.
The result is full-body conditioning — hips, legs, core and shoulders all working, not just arms and lungs.
- People who want a hard, full-body workout without running
- Anyone returning to fitness who wants the intensity dialed to where they are
- Members who already box and want to add kicks and more leg work
- People who train better in a room with other people than alone
WHAT TO EXPECT.
- 01
Arrive 30 minutes early for your first class for a wraps and fundamentals session with a coach.
- 02
Warm-up, coached combination rounds on the bag, then conditioning to finish.
- 03
Kicks are taught slowly before they are taught fast — nobody is thrown into speed work.
- 04
Every class is coached start to finish. A coach demonstrates the work, watches your form and offers a heavier, lighter or lower-impact option before you have to ask for one.
WHY PEOPLE TRAIN KICKBOXING HERE.
Full-body conditioning
Legs, hips, core and shoulders all working in the same round.
Stamina
Interval-style rounds that build real work capacity over weeks, not days.
Mobility through movement
Kicking teaches your hips to move through range under control.
Stress relief
There is a reason people book the evening classes after work.
You do not need to be flexible, coordinated or already fit to start. Kicks start low and slow, and every combination has a scaled-back version.

What is the difference between boxing and kickboxing here?
Boxing is hands only. Kickboxing adds kicks and knees, so more of the work lands on your legs, hips and core.
Do I need to be flexible to kick?
No. Kicks start low and rise as your hips open up. Your coach will give you a height that works today.
Is kickboxing beginner-friendly?
Yes. Beginners and seasoned athletes train in the same room and the coach scales the work in both directions.
Do I need my own gear?
No. Your first glove rental is free and hand wraps can be purchased at the front desk.
Will there be contact with other people?
No. Kickboxing classes are bag-based. There is no sparring.
How do I book my first kickboxing class?
Book any kickboxing class on the schedule — your first class is free.
